About New Generations Services

New Generations Services is a Maryland roofing company run by Jose Ortega, working out of Salisbury, MD. We install and repair residential and commercial roofs, fit gutters and downspouts, and take on interior and exterior painting.

The thing worth knowing about us is that we do both halves of the roofing trade. Most companies around here specialise: either single-family shingle and slate work, or flat commercial membrane. Those are genuinely different skills, and a firm that only has one of them either turns the other work down or quietly subcontracts it. We install architectural shingle and slate on houses, TPO, EPDM and torch-down modified bitumen on flat and low-slope commercial roofs, and standing-seam and exposed-fastener metal on both — with hands-on roofing experience across residential and commercial systems.

Mid-Atlantic weather does not go easy on a roof. Freeze-thaw cycling works at every seam through the winter, storm season drives rain sideways under anything badly lapped, and summer humidity sits on flat roofs that do not drain properly. That is why we get on a roof before quoting it and why our written quotes break out materials, tear-off, disposal and labour separately — so you can see exactly what you are paying for and compare it honestly against anyone else's number.

We work Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, and we cover two regions: Maryland's Eastern Shore & Southern Delaware out of Salisbury, MD, and the Baltimore–Annapolis–DC Corridor across the Bay Bridge.
